Thousands of delegates and Jubilee Party fans countrywide congregated to the Safaricom Stadium, Kasarani on Saturday for the unveiling of Jubilee Party.
The representatives started flowing into the stadium as early as 6am and more are still lined up at the gates.
Security is heightened in and out of the stadium. Police officers and members of the National Youth Service have been deployed to control all entrances.
Members of Parliament, senators, governors, women representatives, MCA’s and other 2017 aspirants are in the stadium.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto are yet to reach at the venue.
On Friday, an estimated 12,000 delegates approved the Jubilee Party that will be used by President Kenyatta to seek re-election next year.
