NIBS COLLEGE STUDENT CAUGHT IN FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY, TO BE ARRAIGNED TODAY

Five fraud suspects were arrested yesterday in possession of 40, 000 simcards from the three major telecommunication service providers, Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom by detectives from Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Juja Constituency, Kiambu County.

Josesp Kuria, Joyce Kagure, George Maina and Evans Getabu were arrested inside their rented house at Jeremy Apartments in Juja town whereas the fifth suspect Loise Wanjiku, a student at NIBS College, was nabbed at Gwa Kairu village along Thika Road.

Three laptops, several mobile phones, printer list of several names against their Identity Card numbers were also confiscated, with police suspecting that the printer was used to print fake currency.
The five are expected to be arraigned at Thika Law Courts today.
